If we told you we were walking 60 miles to help people with breast cancer, would you join us?
In 2002, four friends -- Jo Edmunds, Tina Flaherty, Sarah Mitchell, and Noreen Beck -- committed to making a difference in the movement to fight breast cancer began a special venture together. After some serious discussions on how to improve on the original "Avon Breast Cancer 3-Day", the "Just 'Cause Breast Cancer 3-Day" was born. Unlike similar walks, 100% of the money goes to breast cancer. The Virginia Thurston Healing Garden and The Gillette Center for Women's Cancers are our recipients. With tremendous support from family, friends, the community, and our corporate sponsors, the Just Cause Breast Walks will bring us even closer to a cure.
